    so the wife wants to hike the AT all 2,200 miles of it so we are setting off March 3. our dog and i will be along for the ride (Truck and Trailer and CamAm Spider) following along with her.

    going to take around 6 months but we have to come home for a week end of may first of jun son is getting married then back to it.

    Good luck, I am jealous. Years ago, I hiked the first 40 miles of the AT, starting at Springer Mountain in Georgia. It is beautiful, but a tough hike.

    I’ve know people that have done it. Apparently it’s expected to share things like snacks and stuff and hang out with other hikers as you cross paths.
