I have a single shot 7.62x39 rifle and am wondering if there is a commercially produced saboted, high velocity varmit round available or if anyone knows anyone that can handload some rounds. I know years back I bought some for my .30-30 and thery had a velocity near 4,000 fps.

I want to say Remington made them. They were called Accelerator rounds. I saw some .30/06 that were loaded w/ .223 projectiles. Interesting idea, but I hadn't heard much about accuracy.
