    Stopped by LDWF and got a paper map,shows some atv trails.Anyone ride these trails? Planning to do some hunting there next hunting season.

    There are some general purpose atv trails to get to the general area you are going to hunt. I believe they allow atv's to recover game bagged. I think some of them just drive where they want to and hunt. Not enough game wardens to watch everybody. I believe you have to have your gun unloaded when traversing the trails and not hunt on the trails themselves.

    i thought there was some general trails.. not many, and no good hunting anywhere near them.. and atvs were only allowed after a set time only to retreive downed deer...

    dont even try to look into atv requirments... know a buddy who got a whole slue of tickets

    non stock muffler
    tires to tall
    tire threads to tall
    tires to wide
    destruction of state property(cause he pulled his truck off the gravel road to offload quad)
    no registration and state sticker

    think it was only like $700 in fines

    Damn it, I'd let someone come and root'n toot'n it up on my place for 650.00 a day, Must bring you're own chainsaw to clear trails.

    Well wife and i will take the map ride around and do some looking.
    Hunted there in the late 80's we went by boat.Would hate to take my Nitro back there hunting,fishing i would.
