no, don't remove the stock... I know you can't have a rifle w/out a stock. one of those silly no-nos no one can really explain.

as to replacing it, someone else will have to chime in but I'd leave it alone at least until you have the other one in hand.

Yes he CAN remove the stock and it IS explainable.

So long as the barrel stays over 16 inches (18 on a shotgun) and the overall length over 26 inches...

    He's fine.

Thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead since I just brought the OP's rifle back from the dead :D

New handguards feel great and I really like the magpul stock. My only question: Do any of you have Magpul MOE stocks? Do they feel a little loose?

Going to fire this thing on Friday. Wish me luck.

The MOE can be a little loose, depends on the tolerance variations between the stock and tube. I've had one MOE that was rock solid and one that had almost 1/16" of play. All said and done, doesn't make a bit of difference while shooting and you won't even notice it.

If it reeeeeally does bother you, the Magpul CTR is the answer.

    BTW nice Sig, looks CLEAN!
