Does anyone have any insight on shooting difference of the Sig P220ST (pre-elite) vs. the Sig P220 Stainless Elite? I know just from the what I have read the major difference is the elite has SRT and beaver tail (and wooden grips), but I didn’t know if they shot similar. Trying to get an idea on price for the Sig P220ST as well. I know the stainless elite runs over $1000. Thanks for any help! I appreciate y’all’s time!

I might be wrong but I think the stainless Elite might have a stainless frame vs an aluminum frame. I could also be thinking of the p220 match frames as well. I know that the ones with the stainless frames were popular when the 10mm came out because it was the same frame. All you needed was the locking block barrel and slide. The 10mm top end was too much for the aluminum frames p220 and it needed to be stainless which were hard to find. That is what I did to get a two tone p220 10mm. Functions flawless btw.
