You know what the definition of insanity is? Doing something over and over and expecting a different result. Perhaps #8 will be different.

Welcome to insanity in the US Congress, 2023 style. Look, we already knew the Congress was disfunctional on some levels (from recent history), now we just see more proof of this. A classic example of this is when the fed gov cannot reach an agreement on a budget and force a fed government shutdown. In the end, an agreement is accomplished and a bill is passed, and all government services are re-started. And ALL federal employees are paid in full (100% compensation) for their forced time off. A paid vacation really, at the expense of the US taxpayers. THAT is what you call a real cluster f*ck! Further deepening the federal deficit black hole, and by choice or party follies. 21 of them since 1976. https://www.thoughtco.com/government-shutdown-history-3368274

The longest gov SD ever was in 2018-2019 (34 days). During the trump regime.

And the last real budget we had was under Bill Clinton. And under Clinton is a scary place to be! :p
Clinton was the only POTUS in the last 40 years to actually decrease the US deficit during his tenure. Only one to "get it right" on fed gov spending in the last 40 years to date. Why do you say it was scary under Clinton admin?

McCarthy did prevail, on vote #15 early this morning.
The guy already moved into the speakers office days before being elected speaker. Seems a little sure of him self. I feel like we have just seen McCarthy work the hardest he will ever work for the American people.

He wasn't working for the people the last 4 days, he was working for himself. The Speaker's annual pay is $223,500. Starting pay for a day one Congressional rep is $174,000. AOC from NY went from earning $29k as a waitress/bartender, to $174k annual day one. So she got one heck of a pay raise! She reported 29k in earnings to the IRS the year b4 she was sworn into the Congress. I'd be willing to bet she didn't report a lot of her tips (cash) working as a waitress/bartender so she knew how to lie and cheat from day one. Perfect fit for today's US Congress.

Would you look at that the WEF was right once again
I had never heard of the WEF before you mentioned it a couple days ago. You are talking about the "world economic forum"?

The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.
The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
It was established in 1971 as a not-for-profit foundation and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It is independent, impartial and not tied to any special interests. The Forum strives in all its efforts to demonstrate entrepreneurship in the global public interest while upholding the highest standards of governance. Moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart of everything it does.
Our activities are shaped by a unique institutional culture founded on the stakeholder theory, which asserts that an organization is accountable to all parts of society. The institution carefully blends and balances the best of many kinds of organizations, from both the public and private sectors, international organizations and academic institutions.
We believe that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life who have the drive and the influence to make positive change.

Comprised of representatives from 193 countries. A not for profit, and their annual budget/financial statement appears quite reasonable. Home based in Geneva Switzerland. Interesting.

Take a little stroll down that rabbit hole, the mission plan sounds wonderful but complete destruction and enslavement of the human race will be the results.

Head of Pfizer, at a WEF event, said "We will reduce the number of people in the world that cannot afford our medications by 50%", and said the plan is "well under way."

Pretty cryptic wording there.... Ironically, someone had edited the video of him saying it, but removed the words "that cannot afford our medications." Either way, lol.

WEF is full of disgusting, powerful, globalists.

The way I read that is Pfizer will make their medications less expensive for those who cannot afford them around the world. People die all the time around the world BC they cannot afford the cost of meds. Big Pharma has been doing that for 10 years + in the US that i am aware of. Subsidizing their meds for low income folks with rebates and other discounts. This is old news really, you can go to Mexico and purchase Insulin for 1/3 of the US cost. We been getting screwed over big time in the US by Big Pharma for decades. Big Pharma posts some of the largest profits and capital gains by American corporations. Many of our legislators (Congress) in DC are paid off by big pharma, via campaign donations for example. And insider stock trading tips. That's been in the national news a couple times in the past. trump is in bed with Big Pharma, was before POTUS, and most likely still is. Most everyone he appointed to his cabinet was a billionare. Betsy Devos trump appointed to Secretary of Education = billionare. Never taught anyone in her lifetime, never was an educator. What she was is very wealthy, connected, and a philanthropist. I bet a large donor to trump's campaign before being appointed to his cabinet too. trump's criterion for appointments was wealth and success, not experience, education, or expertise in that field.

"DeVos is married to former Amway CEO Dick DeVos. Her brother, Erik Prince, a former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, is the founder of Blackwater USA. Their father is billionaire industrialist Edgar Prince, founder of the Prince Corporation. In 2016, the family was listed by Forbes as the 88th-richest in America, with an estimated net worth of $5.4 billion.

fact checking Pfizer CEO's controversial comment.
