Never thought about hunting squirrel before, but out of curiosity now coming across this post, what caliber/ types of firearms do y'all usually use for hunting squirrel?
For me 22 is the most fun. Some use shotguns. Some use 17’s but the round is so hot if you don’t make a head shot it’ll blow it in half dam near.

That’s why you must be patient and wait for the right shot. It’s a challenge for sure Shotgun can be fun too
