I dont know of any agency that would have let an employee other than the Public affairs speaker go on record without some repercussions. He sort of set this up and forced it to happen. I agree, some accountability should be had for the offender being dead in custody But this is not the guy who should be going down. IMO

Good publicity for his book he’s about to release.

    Not much of an explanation
Sounds likely that the Senior Corporal, on the scene of an already accomplished burglary, figured the business "wouldn't miss one more" whatever they sell and pocketed something, or scooped a few loose bills the perp(s) dropped, but got caught on camera or seen by a co-worker. Stupid way to pi$$ away a career.

I know that I may get pummeled here but it seems there is a problem in Troop F, which covers Northeast La. There have been numerous incidents in that Troop, (not only the Greene incident) yet the only change has been the Superintendent. I can find no information the leadership at that troop has changed. I just read the article about the firing, so i will take the information given with a grain of salt, but the investigation into Greene's death has been going on for over 2 years now? There has been a lot actions taken against investigator of the Greene incident over the past 2 years that point to a major issue within the upper ranks of La. State Police department. This is sad because it reflects badly on the many good road troopers out there doing their jobs. It the top stints, the smell filters down.
