    It boggles my mind how many people leave their cars unlocked, and if you are leaving a gun in the vehicle, then there is no excuse to not lock it. That being said, no matter how boneheaded it is to leave your car unlocked, the thief is the one deserving of more of our scorn, hands down.

    If your car is stolen out of your driveway the the insurance should not cover that either. Should have been in the garage with the tires removed. I do agree it is STUPID to leave a weapon in a car but…here we go again blaming the victim of a crime.
    Yes Yes Yes. Remove the fuel, the batteries, etc. Don't keep water/coffee in your coffee pot in the evening so it's ready to go the next morning. Imagine if you only charged your cell phone when you needed to MAKE a call? When people start doing all those things, then we can consider keeping guns unloaded, etc. It doesn't matter how short her skirt was, she was not "asking for it."
