After 17 weeks of waiting...it has finally arrived. I cannot wait to take it to the range (Neutral Ground Gun Company) this weekend. Let me know if anybody wants to give it a try.

Please let us know how it performs. I have been eying this since it was announced. I have bought quite a few of the stealth arms 8 percent frames, and finished them with their phantom jig. The machining quality is very high on the 1911 frames, and I hope they have done the same on the platypus.

The machining quality appears top notch and slide to frame fit is wonderful. I will keep you informed after I shoot it on Saturday. If you can get down to Arabi, let me know and you can put some rounds through it yourself.

So back from shooting at the range. It is a fast, smooth shooting gun. Easily able to get 1 hole 5 shot groups at 25ft. I am more than happy with this gun. They knocked it out of the park with this gun in my opinion.

Interesting color. Let us know how it shoots compared to other platforms.
It is a smooth shooting gun, very fast back on target, fast trigger reset and more accurate than I am. I shot it with my MK3 triggered SA35, CZ Shadow 2 Compact, CZ P10C, and Frankenglock. The Platypus is just excellent, feels like a double stack 1911 should. Have to wait for my optic for the Shadow2 Compact to come in to really do an apples to apples comparison.
