I'm using the rebar to stake down some landscape timbers to try and keep my rocks where they belong and ou of the yard. Need 3/8 or 1/2" in 12"-14" lengths.
I'm going to Beaux's right now to see what he has. Let me see what he has and I'll get back with ya. If you come this way, I should be able to meet you somewhere.
The other stuff is being used to wire up my boteport and make a loft to store dogboxes, toobs, and ice chest.
    I appreciate all the replies.

I use the 12" spikes- big nails for staking down timbers. They work great and leave a clean look. I would offer up some rebar, but all I have is rather large.

I get mine at the local hardware store. Look like a big nail, 12" long, maybe 3/8" dia. I always drill a 1/4" hole before driving them, nailing the head flush with the wood-they hold well, look better than the rebar and are easier to work with. They are sold by the pound at hardware stores, weigh just under 1/2 pound each.

    Hey scuba,
The 1/2" pvc is also here on my fence and I'll leave it here for you. I have used the 12" nails for my lean-too for 10 years now and I have had no shifting of the boards.

I think I bought mine from home depot or lowes. If you make it here today I should be home most of the day and I will look to see If I have any 12" nalis left in the box that I used to have. I know I did not throw something like that away. If I have them you can have some.

How many do you need? I usually used 2 or maybe 3 per 8-10 feet of wood.

    Let me know.

I did find the spikes you should need in my shed. I have quite a bit so you are welcome to some if you need some.......just let me know about how many you need.....

These are 3/8 x 12" and I have used this type on several home projects....The ones I have are in a box and new.
