I’ve done a fair amount of loading on a Rock Chucker and it’s a great press…. But the Summit looks very interesting!

Anyone have any experience with the Summit?!

No experience with a Summit, have used a RC for 40+ years, pretty hard to beat. Recently picked up a Dillon 550 for the bulk reloading. RC still used for smaller reload jobs-308, 458 socom

The Summit is made by RCBS so it should be good .
Seems the compact design and limited bench top space it requires might have something going for it .
Sorta pricey... but everything's pricey now days .
I've only used C single stage presses and one Turret in my 50 years ... I'm old school and would need more user input to spend that much money .
Right now I do 90% of my handloading with two Lee Hand Presses ... sit inside the heated and cooled house and reload at table , desk or easy chair !

Summit turned out to be a pretty cool heavy duty press! Ended up with all kinds of presses now and they each serve their own niche for my needs!

No experience on the Summit, however I bought a MEC Marksman about a year ago and love it. The best of the Foster Coax and the Rock chucker together. The Marksman is a regular single stage like the RC, with a floating Shell holder. Check it out.
