Suppressed Ruger 10/22 - ammo questions

That has a lot to do with the fact that the SSS works best in barrels with 1:9 twist rates. I would be curious to see if AAC would change their stance if you were utilizing a 1:9 barrel...

I would never fire that stuff through a suppressor without the appropriate barrel.

thanks for that info. My Ruger 77/22 supposedly has a 1:9 twist rate. I've found it to be extremely accurate with the 60 grain Aguila ammo. Although a BDC of some sort is gratuitous.

When you shoot the subsonic rounds in your 10/22 does it have enough energy to cycle the bolt?

I've never had any feed issues with subsonic in that rifle. An older marlin 60 I have it will occasionally fail to fully operate
the bolt.

Lapua subsonic rounds are the most accurate in my opinion
