glocks suck. my sti never had a problem with water but the glock i once had.....had a problem shooting in oxygen

Apparently you haven't been to too many matches...Glocks croak like everything else. If it is man made and mechanical, it will break. Gaston Glock has brainwashed masses into believing they never break......And that's BULL. I have four and I know what they will do.

Don't forget that the second Saturday of the month Lafourche Speed Shooters has a Steel Challenge match at Southern Shooting Center in Thibodeaux. It is usually a 150 round six stage course. It starts at 09:00 hrs. Bring extra ammo, you are going to need it.

Each stage will have four steel targets that are white and one that is yellow. The yellow is a stop plate. When it is your turn to shoot you step into the "box" and follow the standard procedures for loading and range commands. When the timer goes off you draw from a surrender position (you can shoot from ready gun if you do not have a holster, but there is a 30 second penality for the match) and shoot the four white targets and then the yellow. You shoot this stage four more times and the highest time will be eliminated.

It is very simple and a lot of fun. You can shoot .22 pistols/revolvers...so you can shoot cheap, too.

Sorry Barney...no classifier for USPSA, but you are going to get there as determined as you are.
