Has anyone tried it? I can't see how you could beat the price of CO2 bombs (dry ice, water, plastic bottle)...haha. I'm surprised I didn't die making those things when I was younger. Damn, they were loud.

    The Nasty New Orleans.
I belive it is legal because I know a guy who has had several orders delivered to his door via UPS with no hazmat stickers or ORM-D stickers. If it aint mixed it wont go off.Even if you burn it while its mixed it wont go off.a 22 or hand gun round wont set it off.Only a well placed rifle round will set it off. When it pops there are no flames.I saw a soda bottle that was hanging from a rear view mirror with 2 small charges in it blow the front doorskin 30 yards from the car and the same size charge put under the car and it lifted it a few inches when it went off.The cars windows were already waisted from F/A gunfire and it still bowed the top of the roof up 4 or 5 inches. It is some strong **** and fun when handeld properly.

As far as the legalities are concerned, I think the tannerite itself is perfectly legal...

You need to make sure your high powered shot is legal
    AND
You need to make sure the extremely loud BOOM! is legal

Good luck, it is a lot of fun - done safely. :D

I have some and it's legal to have, transport, and shoot. Just don't transport it once it's mixed as it is considered a class A explosive which will get you on the no-fly list for sure.
