We practiced the 21' drill in a Brooklyn, NY gym in 1963 where boxing and martial arts were taught.

Good article. A person trained in edged weapons is a nightmare scenario in my opinion. I’d rather take my chances with a firearm vs being sliced up.

I've been shooting and hunting my whole life. I also study traditional Japanese sword. I'm of the same opinion. I'd rather take my chances against a gun though neither is a pleasant option.
