Ya know,,call me wrong,but I could not see Patton being president!!! I see him being more of a cleanup crew,and ask opinions after it was all over !!!! Wonder where that would put him in rank in politics ???????

Despite the likelihood that he'd agree we should be there, Patton would **** all over the way the wars are being conducted in Afghanistan and Iraq. Due in no small part to the fact that he wouldn't know the first thing about fighting anything but a traditional battle.

At the same time, he'd probably figure it out really quickly and do enough of "his own thing" to get the job done. Given his way in WWII, things would have been over a lot quicker-- although you can almost guarantee 1 or 2 disasters mixed in as well.

In terms of the sheer numbers alone, we haven't got the first clue as to what a war of that magnitude is like. Props to our fighting men, past and present, who take care of business with both hands tied around their *****. Your service and sacrifice is much appreciated.
