Nope, 100% a scam. Not used by Military. Not used by Law Enforcement. Maybe used by mall security to complement their squirt gun.

Now, if you need a military grade, bear-blinding, CNC machined T7075 aluminum flashlight, you need this:

details of said NEEDED light pleASe. LOL

I have the NBP-52 battery packs which provide the interchange between a regular TM36 and the Lite (short) pack. For what it's worth, the TM36 is cheaper on Amazon with the big battery pack instead of the compact one. And if someone wants a demo, PM me. It's not really practical in a building or small yard haha. Also, the range in LA is about 600m due to humidity causing beam degradation (the 1100m throw is attained in a dry desert in Arizona somewhere, per ANSI FL1 testing specs).

Well, it would be great if it could, but there's so little heat output it can only keep itself defrosted. It'll run at maximum output for about an hour and a half, minimum output (on par with most EDC lights at max brightness) for about 65 hours. What Nitecore calls 50 lumens is like 500 lumens for anyone else.

I mainly use mine to put bat sigils on passing clouds or wave it around like a mini arc light. Also works for tripping someone from a couple of hundred feet away...yes the strobe is much more vicious than your standard taclight.
