Vappie worked mayor Cantrell's protection detail. He laid up with Cantrell on numerous nights at an apartment in the Quarter, people watching taking video, and photos. They ate out together, slept together, exercised together. No other member of her protection team ever entered that apartment, but Vappie. Vappie also logged ridiculous OT hours while working her protection. Sometimes logging 18-20 hours per day. Vappie is/was NOPD. He recently announced his retirement with all the news media heat, and investigations. Cantrell mayor of NOLA. Head liar and cheater.

The city owns the apartment. The Pontalba Apartments from my memory. Could be wrong on that name tho.

Here is a list and explanation of the charges filed against Vappie. Most stem from his abuse on his timesheets, excessive OT, working hours when he was seen socializing with the beast, working/collecting pay from 2 jobs at the same time.
