I need a quality digital watch with a seconds readout and I'd prefer a velcro band, if not velcro then leather. I had one that I bought at Ft. Benning that survived hell and back, but I lost it and have no idea what brand it was. Also not looking to pay hundreds of dollars. I'm on a college student budget. You guys have any suggestion?

I have a casio pathfinder I wear for work and hacking around. It keeps good time. If you get a casio, look at solar power and atomic clock capabilites. They are useful.

I have other watches, but the pathfinder is the one I wear the most.

You might want to check out an origo I love mine it has a digital compass which works great

Similar to the one I use except mine is all black instead of that silver ring around the face.

I just never could get used to digital watches . I'm an an analog guy . Old school , baby .

Casio; unbeatable for a bullet-proof, AFFORDABLE time piece. You'll have to buy the velcro band separately; look for The Band, about five bucks in most places.

+1 I've yet to break one.
