Went to the Lafourche parish sheriffs range

Went to the Lafourche parish police range right off of hwy 90 in Raceland
We had a good time, and we would have stayed longer but the heat wore us out

10.00 to shoot all day with 2 targets provided, 2 psitol ranges with plates to boot and 100trd rifle range w/ the plans of another up to 300 yards

Pretty quiet too as not alot civilians know you can shoot there on weekends

I live about 30 mins from this range, and have yet to shoot there. In years past there has always been open property to shoot. With changing times, it seems those places have all but dried up. Thanks for posting, I will have to plan a trip there sometime.

not alot of shooters there, & sometimes you may have the place to yourself

Is this the range where SLFT does the CC classes? (www.slft.org) I thought it was. Looks like a nice range. About the same distance from Gretna as Honey Island and Nicks IIRC.

if you have kids tell them you are showing the kids how to shoot and they get in free or they did in the past
