What’s up with .38 Special?

During all the COVID-19 period ammo shortages, it was essentially unavailable. Now that other ammo ( e.g. 9mm, .223/5.56) is returning to somewhat normal availability (albeit prices still high), .38 Special remains extremely scarce. Any thoughts and any leads in New Orleans area?

Also saw a decent amount at academy in Gretna yesterday but just doing a quick glance online prices are much better.
