Three 45's in three different rooms. An AR-15 5.56 in the closet in the bedroom. A Remington 870 loaded with #6 lead in the guest bedroom. Good enough if the door breaks down. If they remain outside then 911.
I heard most of the calls in Houma starting on the Monday. I didn't hear many calls about that situations, but I did ask some LEO about them and was told most were overreactions. Most of that was looting closed businesses.Simple answer is realize the situation. It's not worth confronting them. Take pictures from the windows and seek LLEA after the fact. I don't know how many people went to the urban area of houma after the last hurricane, but we witnessed many similar scenarios, it's 50/50 if they are doing it out of desperation and just trying to live with what you have or if it's a malicious robbery for financial gain.
.... the overly aggressive, kill em all, I'm a bad ass mentality doesn't keep anyone safe. You nor the perp, or your family.
