    I will start,
when greeting a new to you dog, sticking your hand out to greet them.
In truth, this pressures the dog and is not good protocol for any dog, pet or working animal.

One that I heard thrown around quite a bit when I was younger was .22lr being referred to as “ping pong rounds” because if someone was shot in the head with one the bullet would bounce around like a ping pong ball after entering the skull. I believed it because I heard it on a handful of different occasions. I remember feeling like an idiot once I was old enough to buy guns and started educating myself on them.

How does a dog communicate that they feel pressured ? (As regards to holding out your hand )
Different dogs respond different ways .
Pressure can be added or taken away.
Dogs have 4 quandrants of training .
Pos and neg punishment and positive and neg reward .
Think of the positive as adding and neg as taking it away.
So, if a dog is already feeling anxious and uncertain, if it's a high drive dog , it's likely going to communicate by raising hair on neck, maybe opening mouth more , looking side eye , even raised lip some prior to more aggressive actions.
But it's like US, it depends on the day and the totality of circumstances.
One blanket statement isn't fair ..

I'll add another. This is an oldy.
When storing a battery. Be sure to place is on a board or it will drain the battery faster ...

Don't drink milk when eating fish, you could smother...lol I have NO idea where that came from but it is VERY WELL known in south Louisiana/Acadiana area.
The don't drink milk rule is because milk can contribute to small bones getting stuck in the throat . This is especially true for people with sinus problems .

"When the round comes out that AR-15 it rises before it drops down."
I believed that for yrs with 22s. It came from Remington cat. on the ammo data page. It listed a rise in trajectory out the barrel. I showed it to others with some smarts & they couldn’t explain it. As it turns out it was the difference in line of sight & bore line. The catalog never pointed that out.

"Hardball stops them all!" was what I was told by a WW2 Marine when I was a teen. I was allowed to have a Colt 1911 Officer's ACP when I was 17. I took the old Marine's advice and loaded the 6 round factory magazine with Winchester 230gr ball. Could have done worse!
