I would like to find a small parcel (2 acres give or take) perfect for a home build. I would prefer not to live in the middle of a bunch of mobile homes so please no land next to a trailer park. If said land has home already built, I could be interested in that as well.

    Budget of around $40k.

My preference is the Broussard, Youngsville area but will not shy away from northern New Iberia area. Don't like North Lafayette or South Carencro but would do southern side of St. Landry parish.

Let me know what you have or what you know of.

can you fill me in on a little more about this?

Its not as big as you want but a subdivision just opened up on Loureauville rd.
Right across the street from that are 1 acre lots.

A little further up the road there are 1 and 2 acre lots. We just got finished triming a house there. As a matter of fact I am about to go check on a problem he is having with his doors in a couple of minutes.

Youngsville is also growing very fast but the houses are WAY closer around there.
