I just acquired a Remington 870 from a friend, and I'm looking to do some cheap work on it so it will be house friendly.

I'm looking to buy used stuff. I don't care if it looks like hell, as long as it works. This gun will be around until I die, so it's going to get knocked around a bit.

I'm looking for a SHORT stock, or youth stock if possible. I'm wanting to go oldschool and stick with wood. The shorter the better. Recoil pads would be nice, but not really needed.

4 or 6 shot side saddle. Pretty self explanatory.

Wood forearm that is compatible with the side saddle.

    2 shot extension with spring.

18" barrel that will accept 2 3/4 and 3" loads.

Like I said, I'm trying to build this pup on a budget since I'm a poor college kid :D. None of the parts need to look good, just need to operate as intended.

I've also got some random stuff lying around the room for trade if anyone is interested.

    Thanks again guys - DAVE

Dave, stocks aren't that hard to cut... You can make it as short as you want within legal limits. What does it look like now? You could just refinish what's there.
