.45-70 H&R Handi Rifle with wood stock, iron sights, Redfield Revolution 2-7x33mm scope, mounting hardware and hammer extension.

Paid $260 for the rifle, $35 for the hardware, and $175 for the scope. That's at $475 and none of that includes tax or shipping.

    American made optics and rifle......

I'm looking for $400 FIRM for the rifle. You can buy an H&R Scoped Rifle package for $308 from Buds and $20 for an FFL. The scope is cheap and has pretty short eye relief. I personally know two guys who got busted in the eye with the scope package rifle. They give you about 2" of eye relief and my rifle is about 4". Now, I think you can get by with the scope package rifle, but plant it firmly.

What I'm really looking for is a trade on a H&R Buffalo Classic rifle in .45-70.

    PM works fine.

Handi Rifles are a pastime favorite for me and my favorite is my .357 magnum. Thinking about this 45-70 and wondering how much my shoulder would hate me.
