It's OK because we cannot name them. You can't say they were Muslims or terrorists or Islamists or Jihadis. So I guess their actions are OK. Just having some harmless fun.

Same as the Muslim Brotherhood trying to buy 2 submarines from Germany! The Jews will just wait for the attack and ask for ID before they get their heads cut off. And just wait until they get here in greater numbers!!!

yea, seems like its getting out of hand. Either make a stand, or pull our people out of everywhere. Its to the point where going overseas as a representative of the US in any form is putting a target on your back

+1 Charles. No structures standing either. Just a half mile of rubble in any direction. That way we can see them coming next time.

Question: Why don't we ring the top of our embassy walls with claymores? First one up looses his head? That would certainly discourage them from climbing.
Of course in muslim countries we just need to surround our embassy with pens for wild hogs.

I thought every US embassy had a Marine detachment assigned to protect it? The only way they could have scaled the walls is if the the Marines were out of ammo! WTF! This will only encourage other militants to do this in other parts of the world!

Maybe after they start dragging the bodies of our people through the streets, then we'll react, but only after the election, if it's convenient to a political platform.

You must think that they're allowed to carry ammo

The baffling statement issued on the embassy website is what gets me:

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims â?? as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of other

    Uh, WHAT????

Not a word mentioned regarding the extremist rats climbing over the F#@king walls of what is SUPPOSEDLY sovereign US soil???? What in the HELL is wrong with this picture, folks? :dunno:

    4 Americans are dead.

    Maybe two Marines?

Al-Sharef said two U.S. Marines sent to Benghazi when the clash erupted were shot and killed by the well-armed protesters. It was not immediately clear whether the Marines were part of Stevens' security detail. The American whose death was confirmed on Tuesday also died of a gunshot wound. He was identified by the State Department on Wednesday as Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith.

& U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens being the 4th.
Stevens, 52, was the first U.S. ambassador to be killed in the line of duty since 1979.

I too am trying to figure out 'Where were the Marines?'

There are even less Consulates with Marines now.

    Then

U.S. President Ronald Reagan called the attack a "despicable act"

U.S. Vice President George H. W. Bush toured the Marine bombed-site on October 26 and said the U.S. "would not be cowed by terrorists."

    Now

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims

So who fired the warning shots (if there were actually any fired)?

In short, who is providing the limited security they have on hand? All they are saying is "U.S. security guards"....

Well from looking around it seems there were no Marines there at all. The Americans killed were all staffers of the Consulate.

Now they are sending in a platoon or two to secure the Embassy.

    Hmm...

I guess no matter how you look at it, Ambassador, Marines or whom ever they were on US soil and were killed. That should never happen without at least a fight. I see it as they gave their lives in the service of our country, for that someone needs to pay! Sometimes I wonder if we have become a bunch of pu$$ies? I don't mean our military, but the people leading our country.
