Hey Guys,
I already read the older thread, but it seems like some time has gone by and I was wondering if anyone has heard any news or has had any run-in's that are relevant with the legality of carrying a switchblade. I believe the law currently prohibits "intentionally concealing a switchblade on one's person". Is this still true? Does anyone know if there are any updates to prosecution or enforcement of this law? I already know "if you get charged you were doing something else wrong anyway and they just tack it on" and also "most officers don't care about a knife, because if you have a CHP you also have a gun!" I have a CHP and understand this. I was just wondering if there were legitimate updates on the legality of this, or if any LEO's know that this isn't being enforced. Or if anyone has a personal anecdote about asking an LEO or being apprehended recently.
Thanks!

Cliff Notes - Switchblades (OTF Auto Knives) are legal to own and possess in Louisiana since this bill was signed in 2018, however it is still (as far as I know that's why im asking) illegal to "intentionally conceal a switchblade
on your person", even if you have a CHP, as the law reads.
