ATF is a law enforcement agency in the United States’ Department of Justice that protects our communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, the illegal use and storage of explosives, acts of arson and bombings, acts of terrorism, and the illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products. We partner with communities, industries, law enforcement, and public safety agencies to safeguard the public we serve through information sharing, training, research, and use of technology.
So remind me how regulating silencers/suppressors actually helps safeguard the public? And how creating "rules" pertaining to pistol braces helps safeguard the public. And how partnering with industries to the tune of sending cease and desist notices to singular manufacturers of legal products (Q LLC most recently) helps safeguard the public?
I'm sure there are plenty of positive things that BATFE does...but there is also toxic leadership in the agency with an agenda to find ways to further restrict the rights of citizens. This is not for safeguarding the public. It is for other gains.
