Need some opinions on a good 22lr to host a suppressor. I had a Ruger Mark III 22/45 and got rid of it and don’t want another one. Looking at Keltec P33, Smith and Wesson Victory performance, smith and Wesson m&p 22, Walther p22.

Taurus TX22 is one hell of a fun plinker. Comes standard with a threaded barrel and 16rd magazines for <$300.

I can't comment on the performance model, but the standard S&W Victory SW22 is excellent. Fantastic trigger, although I did change mine out, and very accurate right from the box. I did need to tune the ejector a little bit, seems to be a common issue with the Victorys, but that's the only issue I've ever had.

I have had stellar luck with Walther P-22’s, Taurus TX22 and Ruger 22/45’s of varying models. My latest favorite is the TX with a TandemKross wingman mag bumper which gives me 20+1 and runs flawlessly. Extremely lightweight and feels like a subcompact 9mm. Still $319 with 2 mags and thread adapter at academy….until I walk in.

I assumed he meant to host a suppressor, but I could be wrong.

I would say the TX22, or the Beretta M9-22. If those are too large, try the Ruger SR22, possibly the Walther P22Q. I think the jury is still out on the P22Q as far as reliability.

The Taurus & the Beretta run great and eat anything like a kid in a candy store.

I have 4 Walther P-22’s and have yet to have any issues with them, suppressed or not.

I have a Walther P-22. I replaced the barrel nut with one that was threaded on the outside. Cheap upgrade to allow a suppressor. My brother has a suppressor and let me try it on the P-22> I could hear the click of the action working and the bullet hit the can that I shot. I have never had a problem with it.
