      Sight in distance

      I sight almost all my handguns in at 25 yards. there is very little "rise" at shorter distances so you can hold dead on up to 25 yards. After 25 yards a 9mm starts to drop. At 50 yards you're about 1.5 inches low and then it gets worse from there.

      Unfortunately 17 year old boys brains are not in their head. I'm sure he "popped-off" to show-off "I gotta gun in my car right now".       How far do you shoot?

      In general 25 to 50 yards with my hunting pistols. EVERY once in a while I shoot 100 yards just to see how bad I can miss. Self defense practice is 7 yards to 25 yards.
