      Something you might want to consider, since this will be your first shotgun. The M97 does not have a safety. The statement above, about the half-cock, involves pulling the trigger on a loaded chamber, with your thumb holding the hammer. Accidents do happen. As long as you can accept its...

      AR-15 Memorial Day Volley

      The AR15/M16 rifle will not cycle with blanks unless you have a blank firing adapter(BFA) attached. Sometimes it doesn't work with them attached. Manual cycling works every time. They also detract from the appearance of the rifle, so some details decide not to use them.

      A few schools of thought on collecting: collection... Focus on one thing and buy the best you can afford. Do your research, or you will be taken. Mausers, Nagants, Garands, Enfields. You name it, you can make a very extensive(expensive) collection. Accumulation...Buy what is available...

      cajunzx6, I would prefer to stay a little closer to home for a meet and greet. Scope is the standard Romanian issue LPS T2. 4x24 fixed power with quick connect mount. I have seen them with rubber covers and eye pieces, but this one did not have one. PM's answered

      PM's replied to. Ammo? No ammo goes with the rifle, I still shoot my Nagant. The ammo is currently easy to come by at the gun shows or mail order. It is also one of the least expensive large bore rifle rounds to be had. Rifle comes as shown. Scope, mount, and four mags.
