I have had this old Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt for a long time now. Its been a great companion on many hunting trips and just out doing things on our family land.
I decided that I wanted to refresh the old workhorse.
At first I was just going to give it a good cleaning. Once I got it down I...
I built this pistol to be a suppressed hog hunting rifle but did not finish it in time for the hunt so I went in a different direction. It has pretty much sat in the safe since.

Went to Texas for a Duck Hunt/Hog Hunt/Rabbit Hunt on a Redfish farm. We caught lots of redfish, shot lots of ducks and rabbits. My favorite part of the hunt was the night time hog hunts we did.
It was in a marshy bottom land with mostly chest tall grass and different bushes. We went in after...

Hello, I am looking for a Ruger New Model Blackhawk barrel that is 5.5" long and blued.
Not the whole gun.....just the barrel.

For sale for 75.00
Bought this for my son last hunting season while on a hunting trip. We shot it just enough to sight it in but he ended up using my 30-30 and harvested his first deer so naturally he has laid claim to my Winchester 94.
This gun is absolutely like new and never been carried. Shot less than 10...
Anyone local to the Northshore have any Blue Dot Powder they’d sell?
I’d buy at least 1 can of it.
Could also possibly trade some green dot for some also.
Let me know if you have some you could part with.
After about two months of solid looking just about every day I finally found the revolver I was wanting. Here is my Lipsey's Exclusive Ruger Flattop Bisley Blackhawk (a mouth full to say/write) in .44 special with a 5.5" barrel. I know Elmer Keith and Skeeter Skelton would be proud.
Of course...

I am not sure how many people here are aware of the Brotherhood Of The Traveling 1858 that Pietta has going around right now. I thought I would share a little bit about it here for those who have not heard of it.
So, The Brotherhood of the Traveling 1858 is an engraved Pietta New Model Army...
Some designs carried over nicely from the 19th century into the 20th century and even the 21st century.
The Mexican Loop design was one of those designs. Would look good on a Texas Ranger's hip in any century.
This is a Mexican Loop Holster that I just finished up for a 1911
