I owned a CW45. Agreed, although I was shooting a far more powerful round I absolutely hated it. Recoil was extremely strong, and until I put a slip on grip it made my hand bleed.
That being said, the K9, the all-steel version (first model Kahr began producing) is one comfy thing to shoot...
If you're talking Kahrs, why not consider a K9? All steel. It has the most comfortable feel to a pistol out of anything I've ever held, and its all metal. Recoil is not significant and its pretty small. Nice smooth trigger too.
Never was a fan of Kahr's polymer framed stuff.
Current LA resident here seeking some advice on CHP permits.
I've lived here for 18 years, but come December/early January, I will be moving out of the state of LA to move to Florida for a guaranteed job opportunity.
I do not currently own a LACHP. My worry is that Florida does not allow...
Geauxshootin, will you be offering this class the following Saturday, the 3rd?
EDIT: I viewed the site, will be submitting application for the 17th of October.
Good luck Hammond. If you get an SR9, watch out for barrel peening. Some of the earlier ones had issues, mine had minor peening that needed to be smoothed out as well.
If you see one at the gunshow, make sure it has a double bladed trigger, like the glock. A solid trigger on an SR9 indicates...
Jareed, I'm going down to the Gonzales gun show to see what's around there tomorrow. If I don't have any luck, I might look into yours. Already own a PO Warthog, but would give a single-stack 1911 a look.
What's your reasons for getting rid of it? I know RIA pistols are inexpensive but...
A few expressions of interest, but the pistol is still for sale.
Will trade and compensate for a short-barrel 1911 (Para warthog, kimber ultracarry II etc), Kahr K9/K40, or a CZ 2075 RAMI. Will possibly consider a Glock 27 or 36, but would prefer a fullsize kahr or the RAMI.
For this weekend...
I love the dang thing too, but shooting the fullsize (if you can call it that) K9 is just phenominal. If only Hogue made rubber grips (not the slipons) for the Mk9.
Seabeevet, out of curiosity, what do you have to trade? If you toss me a PM, something may strike my interest. The CZ and...
Howdy folks, new member here:
I'm selling my Kahr MK9 steel-framed pistol. Second owner. It's been in my possession for four months now. This gun has been kept meticulously clean after every range shoot. You can't find many other 9mm pistols this small other than the Rohrbau.
The gun has...
