03 dodge transmission

I have a 03 dodge dakota and my transmission is bad. I am looking to find a transmission that is canmpatible with it. Can anyone tell me what other dodge I can pull a trans out of and put in mine. I have a 3.9 v6 2wd. I know i can get one out of a dagrano. I was told I can get one from a v8 but not to sure about that. Can anyone help me out, need to get it running ASAP. Thanks

5 speed or auto? I know the stick trans is compatable with some jeeps, but not sure on the automatic, the stick has a removeable bellhousing.
