$10 springfield 187s fix up project

I bought this gun in a box at a yard sell. It was taken apart when I got it. Had some stripped out screws. I have 4 or these guns and like them, so I fixed it.

Cleaning up some of the parts.

Messed up bolt hole. I ran a tap through it and it cleaned it up.

It was spray painted brown. That just wasnt going to cut it.

Cleaned up and black together.

Duck tape can fix anything!

and done! It had some parts missing so I had to jack some from one of my other guns I use for parts.

Pics are kinda crappy, but it turned out pretty good. Im gonna go shoot stuff tom and see how she shoots.

The guy had 4 shot guns and 2 rifles and a pistol. I bought all of it from him for 40 bucks.

Jealous. Guess Im gonna have to start going to yard sales as well. If only it wasn't football season...

Yea my mom hosted a Yard sale for a friend and sold a Muzzle Loader NIB for $80!!!!!

The worst part was that she called me AFTER the sale and asked if that was good?

NO MOM!!! Calling me AFTER you give a NIB Muzzleloader away is NEVER good!

But she raised me and still does, she's forgiven
