Enough to give you an upset stomach.

I wonder how many of the really desirable weapons magically grow legs and walk outta there before they hit the crucible?

Yeah, I'm willing to bet not all of them made it to the meltin' pot.
I wonder how many murderers "anonymously" get away with it because the LAPD happily melted down their murder weapon.
This program HAD to come from something a gang member left in the suggestion box.
Thanks be to God I don't live in Kalifornia......

Money for 'no questions asked' guns. Sounds like a recipe for gun theft. How else does really nice stuff get there to be melted.

Officer: "Ma'am what kind of weapon did he use to rob the liquor store?"
Lady: "I think it was one of those WWII M1 Garands."

Unless I watched it wrong there seemed to be a lot more long guns than pistols. Now I know they are smaller, but just looked that way to me.

Notice the reporter stated "illegal weapons" when describing the cache of weapons, surely out of 40,000 lbs there was 1 or 2 legal weapons, maybe 1 chipmunk .22 bolt action, or a .410 single action crack barrel, liberal media at its finest, all illegal, SHAME ON THE MEDIA AND LEO
