It does have a detachable 5 rd magazine. I've never seen a stripper clip loaded 22. I have seen one that used belts but it was a 22lr version of the Browning 30 cal machine gun.

If I didn't already have a 452 Lux with Mueller scope I would have bought it already. Edit: I thought it was a Lux, but it might be a trainer.
Lux is Walnut and trainer is Beech stocked, IIRC.
Either way it is a fine mini-Mauser rimfire with large, excellent iron sights.
