Have you ever wanted a nice wwii german military luger but didn't want to spend the price of a used honda civic to get one? Or maybe you already have the all matching numbered veteran trophy piece but want a luger you can handle without wearing the white gloves before putting it back away in the vault. This my friends is an excellent luger, and this is also one you can enjoy and shoot. This is a 1939 russian capture, but there are various levels of russian capture lugers and this particular one is among the nicer of them. It is mostly all matching parts. The only non matching part on the gun is the toggle assembly and the magazine. Of course it was arsenal refurbished by the Russians but they left all the waffen marks in tact and there are quite a few of them. Very clean gun both inside and out with newer replacement wood grips on it. This gun is a shooter. I've run quite a few rounds of standard brass cased winchester white box 115 grain ammo through it flawlessly. It did have some hang-ups with the tulammo steel cased junk but as we all know that ammo tends to be a bit lightly loaded and let's face it, it is still a luger so feed it half decent ammo and it will run happily. Very easy and smooth to break down and clean and put back together. It does have older century arms import markings on the barrel but nothing too distracting from the elegant looks of this one. Price is $1000. 1k and you can knock down the plates on the weekend in style. Located in Covington/northshore area and commuting to baton rouge during the week. I know I will regret letting this one go
