I have two custom Caspian 1911's for sale. I collect rare and high end 1911's and love hand-built Caspians in particular. These are both extremely rare. They look to be production caspian models but may be custom built as I have never run across another example of either. Both are .45 ACP. Both have been bead-blasted, brushed/buffed, detail-stripped and cleaned, and test fired. Both ran flawlessly. Very tight and extremely smooth action on both. Hard to price both of these as there are literally no other examples to compare them to even online. Prefer cash sale but would listen to trade/partial trade offers. I prefer handguns and high end/custom/rare 1911's in particular.
The first is a full size (Government) 1911 with a 5" ported island barrel with a compensator. Brushed stainless upper and lower, as pictured. Incredible fitting on barrel and compensator as shown in pics. I haven't run across a compensated ported island barrel on a standard single stack steel frame 1911 before...very unique. Slide feels like it is on ball bearings. Muzzle flip is, predictably, non-existent. I have wood grips that came with it but will sell with carbon fiber grips as pictured as well, and an 8 round Wilson mag. $1750 OBO
The second is an officer size with 3.5" barrel and also a ported island bull barrel. This thing is amazing to shoot. Very little recoil especially compared to standard officer size 1911. It's a BLAST to shoot. Surprisingly accurate for it's size. Excellent triggers on both, as expected. Crimson trace grips on this one. Not my cup of tea but were on the gun when I bought it and work perfectly, batteries just changed. Brushed stainless slide and matte stainless frame. $1100 OBO
