.30-06 Remington 742 barrel-chamber is messed up and rifling is pitted

Old barrels are a good starting point for making threaded adapters.
You can do lots of other things with .30 barrels, too.

I have a few old barrels around if you need anything special.
I should have some dark HK G3 and G33 barrels, IIRC, and a stainless .22 blank somewhere.
I would like an old 10 gauge single or double barrel to make cannon with.
