I don't think it would be that large of a conflict.
There were many shooters on the waiting list for a spot to shoot the Gator this past year.

I'm sure that some shooters will choose to go to Nationals instead of teh Gator, but I don't see that being a huge number of shooters.

I have always hoped that some of the other GM top limited shooters might start flocking to the GATOR to take on our Home State WORLD CHAMPIONS, but seems like they already know that they can take them down in their home state.

Probably because it will be cooler. This year it was hot as hell in the desert, one day it was 105 and the dust was terrible. I plan to go back next year.

    I have not heard this.

I hope that everyone has taken a minute to send them a card, letter or e-mail expressing thanks for all they do all year long to make the Gator happen.

^^^^^THIS^^^^^Most folks don't know what goes into putting on a match of this caliber. The Gator has been getting better each year and this year was no exception. Please thank the guys and gals that worked the match and the "behind the scene" folks too.

I missed out getting in on the Gator this year it filled up so quick but went walk around on Sunday and picked up a few things from the vendors. I can tell a LOT goes into making it work out the way it does and really wanna shoot it next year.

How many years has the Gator been going on?

I think the Gator was born in either 2004 or 2005. Before that, the LA Section Match was held in Gonzales.
