    I went back to academy here in lafayette on southside and they actually still had 5.56 ammo for 8.99 for 20 i was suprised by this lol, i wish they have let me buy the last 20 boxes since it will prolly still be there in the morning

    elmwood still had 556 1 hour ago. So much for one box a day. I got 4 today lol.

    Hey people, don't forget amazon. There are still some retailers there selling normal prices parts. You can still get a tube and stock kit with buffer and spring for under $40 delivered among other things.

    So far the majority of the prices do not seem remotely good. Just because something is in stock at a vendor doesn't mean you're getting a good deal. People are raising hell about gouging here in the classifieds, yet I've seen people trample each other to order stuff for the same price.

    I guess my point is don't fall victim to the "OMG SOMETHING IS IN STOCK!!!" game. Unless it's something you desperately need, a lot of these prices still suck.

    Are you referring to my post about amazon? If so, you have to dig thru to find the decent prices.

    Wal-Mart on Shreveport-Barksdale HWY in Shreveport had nothing but Marlin 444 and 35 Whelen ammo in stock.
