We start shooting at 9AM. It would be a good idea to arrive earlier so as to get a good idea of the match flow. We start with two shooters on the 25 yard line. There is a 30 second load time and then 2 minutes to fire 5 shots. Targets are then reset and you repeat 5 shots for a total of 10 shots at that distance (This is done at each distance -25-50-75-100 yds) for a total of 40 shots. When finished at 25 yards you advance to the next distance to continue your entry and two new shooters step in at the 25 yard line. It takes about 45 minutes to shoot a complete entry. Hearing and eye protection is mandatory. We have categories for any 22LR handgun you can bring. There are seperate categories for prone and offhand, production stock and modified guns, iron sights or optics. Only standard ammo is allowed. No hyper velocity or magnums. You can shoot as many entries as you like, just re-enter in the same category or try a different one. (re-entries count only for classification advancement, not official score). First time shooters pay no entry fee. $8 per gun after that. We reset and repaint all targets. All you have to do is shoot. You can register for an entry at any time during the match and jump in when an opening becomes available. If you have a friend with a spotting scope to help call your shots please bring them along. It helps a lot. You can take turns shooting and spotting.
