I am currently undertaking a 50,000 round torture test with my XD45 compact.......


I'm pretty sure I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 300-400 or so rounds into it- it's the first leg & my math isn't too good.....I'm taking it kind of slow, since I usually only have time to shoot 50 rounds or so at a time, plus the time it takes to clean the pistol afterwards....I'll be sure & let everyone know how everything turns out.















Okay, I'm being an ass. Seriously, the XD is a great gun- I've never had any trouble with mine whatsoever.....

That test and article was what convinced me to buy an XD as my first handgun purchase after I turned 21 when I was mainly just looking for something that I could trust to go bang when I pulled the trigger.

The selling point for me was its "divining rod" capabilities. The thing points itself toward the blood in human aortas. No need to aim in SD situations. Just wet your pants and empty the mag.

I own a XD 45 compact and really like it. Very accurate and reliable.

But can it shoot underwater?

In Louisiana you can't see more than a couple inches in front of your own face while underwater so Glocks shooting underwater in Louisiana automatically break the fourth safety rule: Be sure of your target.

They also break the fifth safety rule :Glocks are stupid.

I've heard mixed reviews about Taurus but I love my PT 140.
