I watched it last night. I thought it was OK, but I also believe that it will eventually add fuel to the anti-gun crowd fire as things like this often do.
One thing that stuck out that I found hilarious .....the big guy who came in looking for a gun with a lot of stopping power....and a 9mm was suggested
Anyway, I do plan to watch it again for the entertainment value if nothing else.
The guy is an actor- not a "legit" gun guy....some of the jokes he cracked were- IMHO- damaging to the image of responsible gun owners (us). I got the impression that perhaps that's the idea....I hope I'm wrong- but I doubt it.
I like it better than I liked Mail Call. R. Lee Ermey has the best job in the world. His enthusiasm is obvious. I consider myself to be somewhat knowledgeable about firearms, but I always learn something interesting while watching the program.
