    $180 OTD

It's not perfect. Has some surface rust and some wood blems (and looks like someone had some ****ing duct tape on the stock) but it will do what I need it to do (kill tree rats and double as a spare HD gun.)

Spankster, you might know a guy or two who can take care of the metal blems.
Wipe the stock down with mineral spirits and the adhesive should go away.

The mineral spirits might take the finish off of the stock too if it's clearcoated (ask how I know). There's some stuff for adhesive called "Goop Off" that's cheap, works well, and isn't too harsh.

This reminds me of the Mossberg 500 I got a deal on a few years back, some maniac had painted it up in red and green, striped like a barber pole.

it looks like someone had a bumper sticker on it. try goo-gone or rubbing alcohol

+1 on the Goo Gone. It will remove the glue, plus give the shotgun a pleasant orange smell- which as we all know has been known to improve reliability...:D
