It is a commercial bolt action modified Mauser action .270 rifle. The barrel is 22 inches long. Yeah, I could meet ya half way. Sorry about the pictures. guess I gotta crap camera for this sort of thing. It's manufactured by Century International Arms.

That's a military M98 action, look at the stripper clip cut out on the left side, the military bolt shroud, and the military trigger guard.
