I bought one at a gun show for $480 out the door. I didn't notice anything different until Pangris pointed it out. I guess I did OK then.

It has the Austrian proof marks, otherwise it is the same. I have Gen 1 17 that has the Austrian proofs.

Back last year when there was a shortage of G-19's, GLOCK contacted the parent company and they were able to import several (or a LOTof them) to help keep up with the G-19 demand.

The first ones had steel sights ($30 retail) and the later ones were plastic ($5 retail).
Glock went cheap again as soon as they could.
